An Invisalign miracle happened on me here. I have visited numerous dentists prior to selecting Orchard Scotts Dental Dr Ronnie Yap. The previous dentists I consulted all suggested extraction of teeth as I had a serious overcrowding issue. It didn't make any sense to me that I have to remove healthy teeth. One Dentist even suggested a jaw expansion thingy to be stuck in my mouth for 6months, he said cos my jaw is small hence overcrowding. Absurd!
Dr Ronnie Yap did my Invisalign program without a single tooth extraction. He confidently mentioned to me that if I were to extract teeth out, I would have a "collapsed smile" and that wouldn't be nice at all. I am now 10 months into my aligner program and my teeth have shifted so much and becoming so much straighter that I couldn't believe my eyes. Dr Yap is a saviour to great smiles. I am very satisfied with "yet to even complete" Invisalign journey and am enjoying every change of aligner (weekly), cos I know I'm one step away from dream smile. :D

Dear Lucus, It's been a year and if you are still having pain around that area, that is not normal. If this persists, it is best to remove it. If there are no symptoms at all now, you have the option to leave it alone. Sedation can be arranged with an anaesthetist to allay your fears of dental...
