Dental veneers change the colour, shape, and position of your teeth. Though the results of dental veneers can be very aesthetically pleasing, there are steps that you have to take to maintain them. These steps include brushing and flossing regularly and having regular scaling and polishing. Some common conditions that veneers can correct are,

Indirect veneers (Porcelain) are usually preferred as it is long-lasting, extremely strong, stain-resistant and the thickness can be controlled as opposed to direct (Composite) veneers that have a shorter lifespan, is bulkier, and stains easily. Most importantly, considering the time these veneers are put on for around 15 to 20 years, they do not stain easily. In fact, they are stronger than your natural teeth, however, you should avoid eating hard food like bones and crab claws.
The consultation usually starts off by taking impressions of your teeth. Once the design is approved, they will take the final impressions and fit it on your teeth temporarily before fitting the final veneers.
