Why is there such a wide range of fees for dental implant surgery in Singapore?

Implant procedures can come in different price points due to a few factors. It mainly boils down to 3 factors, which is: 1. Implant brand There are many different implant brands in market, originating from different places/ country. They may come in different sizes too and some may be suitable to you but not to another person. Each brand cost differently and of course each has their own strengths and weaknesses too. 2. Implant procedure There are different procedures in placing an implant.

What should I do if my child's lower milk teeth is growing in front of the upper milk teeth?

Lower teeth growing in front of the upper teeth is a common sight that we see. It is a form of malocclusion, meaning the teeth are biting improperly. This is also commonly known as underbite. Underbite can be due to 1. Skeletal discrepancy, meaning the lower jaw is bigger than the upper jaw, or an underdeveloped upper jaw. This is usually congenital. A good way to check is to see if any of your family members inherit an underbite. 2. Dental. In this instance, the jaw size are of normal sizes, but the teeth has developed in such a way that an underbite occurs.

Is Invisalign or braces a better option for teeth that have relapsed?

Sorry to hear that your teeth has relapsed from your previous braces treatment. Both conventional fixed braces and Invisalign are effective in moving and straightening teeth, regardless of whether it is for relapse or new cases. Most relapse cases occurs with shifting of the multiple teeth rather than just one of two teeth, as teeth cooperates and function together. Hence, orthodontic treatment usually occurs on both arches together to ensure good functionality of teeth.
