About Dr Ethan Lim

Dr Lim is currently a Medical Director, as well as the Head for the Clinical and Wellness department at Cigna Singapore. He graduated with an MBBS from NUS in 2002. After which he obtained a Clinical Exercise Physiologist Certification with the American College of Sports Medicine. He also received a Sports Medicine Course Certificate with the Singapore National Olympic Committee - International Olympic Committee.

Dr Lim’s experience lies in the sporting and exercise field. As a matter of fact, he has been working with elite athletes since 2009. He also served as the Chief Medical Officer for the Singapore Contingent to Asian Youth Games in 2013 and Asian Games in 2014.

Previoulsy, Dr Lim was a physician at Parkway Shenton Medical Group, and was in charge of the Sports and Preventive Medicine Branch. He offered services to a multitude range of patients -both youths and elderly, as well as athletes and parathletes. As part of the Sports and Preventive Medicine team, Dr Lim brought sports and exercise services to the community, introducing lifestyle improvement options to the general public.
