Thermage, Ultherapy, & Dysport Dermalift In Singapore: Cost & Comparison (2019)
Thermage, Ultherapy, & Dysport Dermalift In Singapore: Cost & Comparison (2019)

I've noticed a trend as a medical aesthetic doctor over the last 5 years - surgical facelifts are waning in popularity amongst Singaporeans, mainly for the following 2 reasons:

  1. Prolonged downtime is not an option for most patients in Singapore. Facelift surgeries result in a lengthy recovery period of 2 - 4 weeks (sometimes up to 3 months).
  2. Society attaches a big taboo to “plastic surgery”. The number of people who tell you that they've done plastic surgery on their faces is probably less than the number of times that you've won 4D.

Hence, it's no wonder that the number of options for NON-SURGICAL face-lifts and skin tightening have increased drastically in recent years.

Hair Loss Treatment In Singapore: A Doctor's Guide (2019)
Hair Loss Treatment In Singapore: A Doctor's Guide (2019)

About 99% of hair loss treatments in Singapore that you see advertised on local media do not work at all. You probably know exactly which adverts I'm talking about - they often feature Mediacorp artistes.

Just how much money is wasted on these ineffective treatments? A lot. Hair loss treatment is a whopping $3.5 billion industry.

Hi there, Picosure laser is the first commercially available picosecond laser machine in the world. It is invented by Cynosure, the same manufacturer that invented Medlite and Revlite (Q switched Nd:Yag lasers that rocked the world of pigmentation ). Hi there! Yes it does. Dysport in a diluted form has been well known by many doctors to be able to create a facelift effect by injecting it in the intradermal plane (into the skin level instead of the muscle ). However, it is an off-label use. It was invented by a Korean plas...

Hi, As Dr Tay pointed out, you can get the shape and appearance of your nose operated on at the same time as the septoplasty. That would be considered another surgical procedure. That would likely involve the insertion of implants and cartilage for the aesthetic shaping of y...
