Non-invasive Fat Reduction: truSculpt iD

youtube video preview

Body sculpting and contouring involves either surgical or non-invasive treatments to modify body appearances. For fat reduction, lipolysis remains one of the most popular methods over the last few decades.

Dr K K Chew utilizes truSculpt iD. It is a non-invasive treatment that utilizes radio frequency to induce lipolysis, heating and breaking down fat pockets from the skin to muscle.

The procedure only takes 15 minutes and there is no downtime. On average, 24% of localized fat cells are permanently eliminated, with results seen in 8 to 12 weeks after the treatment.

Treatment For Facial Skin Laxity: The True Lift Technique

youtube video preview

Retaining ligaments are fibres that hold up the superficial muscular aponeurotic system layer of the face. These ligaments play a part in holding up the soft tissues of the face.

The True Lift technique that treats skin laxity was created by Taiwanese plastic surgeon Dr Peter Huang and Galderma. A hyaluronic acid filler called Restylane Lyft is used in five injection points on each side of the face.

These injection points target the retaining ligaments to treat the root causes of sagging skin in suitable patients. This can help improve the appearance of:

• Drooping of the corners of the eye
• Flattened cheeks
• Sagging of the midface area
• Deepened nasolabial folds, and
• Drooping mouth corners and jowls.
