About Dr Kelly Loi
Dr Kelly Loi is a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Medical Director with Health & Fertility Centre for Women and Mount Elizabeth Hospital Fertility Centre. Prior to private practice, Dr Loi was the Consultant in the Department of Reproductive Medicine at KK Hospital.
Dr Loi obtained her medical degree from the Oxford Medical School. During her medical training, she also did attachments with John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, and Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University. Dr Loi served as the House-Officer in the John Radcliffe Hospital and the Churchill Hospital in Oxford after her graduation. She then went on to specialise in the field of obstetrics & gynaecology as a Senior House Officer in St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College, London.
During her stint in KK Hospital, Dr Loi continued her training in obstetrics & gynaecology with a sub-specialty interest in fertility, in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and reproductive medicine. Dr Loi was also heavily involved in undergraduate medical education, having served at both Yong Loo Lin Medical School and the Duke Graduate Medical School. Because of her dedication and care for her patients, Dr Loi won both the Excellent Service Awards as well as the Long Service Award from KK Hospital in 2008.
Awarded with an overseas fellowship, Dr Loi went for a advanced training in Belgium in fertility preservation for cancer patients, under one of the foremost experts in this field, Professor Jacques Donnez.
Dr Loi is specialised in mainly antenatal and obstetrics care, fertility treatment, IVF and surgery. Dr Loi is also a Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) accredited IVF Clinician. She is also an advocate of performing minimally invasive gynae-laparoscopic and reproductive surgery.
Dr Loi also published a number of medical papers and was invited to be a reviewer on peer-reviewed international medical journals on obstetrics & gynaecology. She is also passionate in public education and regularly contributes to various magazines and journals, and is often invited to speak at public seminars.
