Dr Lee Chee Wan is one of the few clinical cardiologists in Singapore who has both medical and doctorate degrees. He received the prestigious Wellcome Trust Fellowship to undertake cardiovascular research and was awarded Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Oxford. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He has published in several peer-reviewed international medical journals.
Dr Lee held many respectable positions as a senior consultant and head of Department of Cardiology at the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH). He led in pacing and cardiac electrophysiology at the Cardiovascular Centre and the former director of the coronary care unit (CCU) at the KTPH.
