Dr Lim Chee Chian is a gastroenterologist and currently practices at Gleneagles Hospital. In 1986, he graduated from National University of Singapore with his MBBS and completed his post-graduate clinical training in Interventional Endoscopy and Endoscopic Laser Therapy at the National Medical Laser Centre/Middlesex Hospital in London in the United Kingdom from 1995 to 1996. Afterwards, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh and the Academy of Medicine in Singapore.
Dr Lim’s past appointments include the Head of Gastroenterology Unit, The Department of General Medicine in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (1999-2004), a Supervisor for Advanced Specialty Training in Gastroenterology Clinical Senior Lecturer at the National University of Singapore, an Honorary Treasurer, Vice President at the Gastroenterological Society of Singapore and the President of Gastroenterological Society of Singapore from 2001-2003.
Currently, aside from being a specialist, Dr Lim is also a member of several associations & societies such as Gastroenterological Society of Singapore, and the Specialist Training Committee for Gastroenterology, Ministry of Health.
