3. Experience

With over 14 years of medical experience, Dr Lim is currently a senior consultant dermatologist with The Dermatology Practice. In 2004, , Dr Lim underwent his training at National University of Singapore, Internal Medicine School of Medicine. Upon completion he obtained his Advanced Specialist Training in Dermatology at the National Skin Centre. His subspecialties include skin cancers, phototherapy and psoriasis and have done further research at the Victoria Skin and Cancer Foundation in Australia, one of the highest rates of this condition in the world and has extensive experience in the use of biologic therapies for psoriasis patients.Dr Lim is an Executive Committee member of the Dermatological Society of Singapore and the Chapter of Dermatologists, College of Physicians Singapore. He is also a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK), a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (Dermatology) and a member of the International Society of Investigative Dermatology.

Before setting up The Dermatology Practice, Dr Lim was a consultant dermatologist in private practice with Dermatology Associates from 2010 to 2012 and had clinics at Parkway East medical centre& Gleneagles. Prior to private practice, Dr Lim was a consultant dermatologist in the skin cancer unit, and the psoriasis unit at the National Skin Centre, Singapore. In addition, he was a clinical tutor at the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
