About Dr Marilyn Lee

In 2003, Dr Marilyn Lee obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine (UK), with distinctions in Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynecology, along with being a finalist in the University Gold Medal Examination. She went on to train in internal medicine at Barts and the London NHS Trust and received the membership of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2006. She returned to Singapore to begin her Endocrine training then became a Specialist in Endocrinology in 2011. Following that she received the HealManpowerwer Development Plan Scholarship to train in reproductive endocrinology at the University College Hospital (London) and KK Hospital (Singapore).

Professional Experience

Dr Lee established the reproductive endocrine service at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH) and served as the associate program director of the endocrine residency program at KTPH. She was also an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Medicine at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS) and is presently a member of the Chapter of Endocrinologists (Academy of Medicine Singapore) and a board member in a clinical capacity of ADVANTAGE Endocrine Centre (India).

Specialty

Dr Lee has a subspecialty in diabetes management, thyroid, osteoporosis and reproductive endocrine disorders. She covers other components of endocrinology such as pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders, lipid disorders and calcium disorders.
