Dr Mas Suhaila Isa graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) in 2003. She received her general paediatric training in National University Hospital (NUH) and obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) with the United Kingdom in 2008.
Dr Mas received her paediatric infectious disease training in Sydney Children’s Hospital in 2010 and completed her subspecialty fellowship with Boston Children’s Hospital, USA in 2013, where she was a Fellow in Paediatric Infectious Disease a iliated to Harvard Medical School.
Prior to joining Kids Clinic, Dr Mas was a Consultant with the Division of Paediatric Infectious Disease in NUH since 2011 and was an Assistant Professor with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. She was a committee member of the Paediatrics Ethics and Advocacy Center of NUH and served as a member of the Expert Committee of Immunisation with the Ministry of Health from 2013 to 2017. She continues to be a Visiting Consultant for paediatrics at the Tuberculosis Control Unit in Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Her clinical practice involves all areas of general paediatrics with special interests in the field of infectious diseases including immunocompromised hosts, infections in critical care, perinatal infections as well as travel health and immunisation.
