ASK DR ELAINE TAN: EARLY BRACES TREATMENT IN CHILDREN

Most people associate orthodontics with adolescence or older children. However, orthodontists recommend that children see an orthodontist as early as age 7. Typically, permanent teeth start to come through around the age of 6 or 7, with adult molars coming through around the age of 10.

If your child displays orthodontic problems that warrant treatment, your orthodontist will recommend the most efficient sound course of action to nip it in the bud.

Join Dr Elaine Tan, an experienced orthodontist from National Dental Centre as she hosts a QnA session where she answers all your questions on early braces treatment in children.
