Any advice on weight loss from jogging/HIIT?

Hi guys,

I have done HIIT previously and results are definately there. Be that as it may, I as of late started practicing for about approximately 2 weeks following 9 months of lingering and putting on gigantic measures of weight. So was intending to complete 2 weeks of typical running somewhere around 3 times each prior week beginning my HIIT.

The thing right presently is, I have grown somewhat partial to running, and HIIT appears to be extremely tiring from what I recollect previously (I know, NO PAIN NO GAIN). Be that as it may, how might I run successfully so I can get probably some weight reduction from it?

Enable me to give a few measurements for clearer picture. Right now I'm 26, 1.7m, 88kg. Since I have begun I have lost around 1kg, was seeking after increasingly however :p

Im not certain if its alright. When I was in NS I was advised to run constant, personality over body. Beyond any doubt I can do that however it truly de-rouses me as I feel extremely drained. So far I feel my wellness is enhancing as I can run more ceaselessly. As of my last run, I kept running from indicate A B, at that point rested for around 3mins, at that point kept running from B to C to B once more, refreshed, at that point to D, strolling the distance back home at A.

Entire thing endured around 40 mins including rest times.

I additionally have a heartrate screen, not certain if its precise but rather its lashed around the chest thingy like a bra, so ought to be quite alright. This is the thing that I took note.

Inside beginning of the run by 1 minute, my HR would be around 150, topping around 170 when I achieved point B. I began again when my HR was brought down to 140, ascending to >180 inside 2 minutes and drifted the distance while I was doing from B to C and B once more (Max was 188). Same outcomes was comparative as I rested at point B, chilling off to 140 preceding doing B to D (drifting HR 180~188)

Question on HIIT astute would be quite short, just wanna clear up something. for HIIT I dont truly need to keep running energetically right? Since when I do that occasionally my knees clasp, had a craving for regurgitating, tumbling down, swooning.

The past occasions I did my HIIT was to just run hard, enough to make me gasp like siao toward the finish of the lap, resting x2 the time taken for me to run that 400m... doing that for around 4~6 times... Is that fine?

Much obliged to all of you for your time and tolerance for perusing my post.

Hmmm, do you like running? Would you consider lifting weights?

What if I told you all the results you desire could be achieved in lifting weights for the same amount of time that you run/HIIT each week?

No secret, nothing to pay, it's very real.

Yea I do hear the doing gym correctly achieves great results... but it all honesty, its really boring. My workplace has gym so probably hitting the gym once a week or 2... Just not into lifting weights... YET...

You are either one weird animal, or don't know how to weight train.

Do whatever you want, but be consistent with it and your diet. Scale back on eating sh*t. And exercises with at least SOME intensity.

BOOM, sustained weight loss.

Totally agree with this.

Just choose an activity you enjoy and stick to it. Losing weight is 80% diet and 20% exercise. Although adding weight-lifting and HIIT to your weight loss program is ultimately beneficial, I believe as you progress in your weight loss and after doing more reading etc, you'll become more interested in weights.

lol, btw OP, I realise that you can just jog to hougang clubfitt do a workout then jog back.

I've head HIIT is quite effective for weight loss, and also especially for people with really packed schedules.

HIIT doesn't have to be "all out", but it has to be very close to that. That's where the "high intensity" comes from. Otherwise it's just interval training.

Well, for me to run that 400m, if I run very close to that, I will be fizzled out before hitting that mark, thats why i scaled back a bit to finish that 400m. How does one measure how high? The only way i know of is through heartrate monitoring, which does indicate that Im pushing. Whenever i finished a lap my HR is always above 190... heart beating very hard and breathing heavily. Can hear my heart boom boom against my chest... scared later my heart sexplode... lol

I seeing words like - Too Hard, Too Boring, Too Tiring etc. Only after 2 weeks!

If you want results ... you need to go hard & push yourself!

The average person trying to lose weight tends to go at too low a pace. When they don't get results, they just give up! Thats the reason many people sign up to the gym but disappear after 1-2 months.

Commit to going hard for at least 1-2 months no matter how much you hate it!

Once you see the results ... "Too Whatever" disappears! Vanity takes over & she is one convincing bitch!

If you have the time and effort to look at scenery, etc, you're not training hard enough.

You might as well go watch a movie. You'll enjoy yourself more.
