I just wanted to confirm if going into the NUS medicine course is the right choice, if I do want to specialise in neurology in the future. Many of my friends have told me going overseas would be better but I don't really see how that works... And I don't have that much money to spend on my studies either. Also, is it advisable to specialise in the first place? My acquaintance had recently attended this medical talk and afterwards, she advised me not to because not every person who studies to be a specialist can be one. Which makes me wonder why? And, if I don't specialise in a specific category, what kind of jobs as a doctor can I do? Sorry, it's super long but I've really got no one else to ask these questions too. Please help out a soul here, thanks!!
