I just want to be prepared...

Human's mission is to to grow the world's expert health knowledge and make it accessible for all.

To fully achieve our mission, we need to:

1. Partner more expert doctors to share their knowledge.

2. Make sure that the health knowledge on Human will improve and last forever, so that it can benefit as many people as possible around the world.

Our team today is made up of like-minded individuals and volunteers who dedicate their time and expertise to supporting Human's mission.

A sustainable revenue model will enable us to continue building a world-class team of machine-learning experts and data scientists, in order to address the unique set of challenges ahead of us.

For example, by using AI to understand the health topic that users and doctors are writing about, we can expertly translate and recommend a doctor's content in English, so as to benefit an Indonesian patient with the same health query.

Why is Human free for users?

We want to radically improve the accessibility of health knowledge by connecting doctors and patients in an unprecedented way - a free medical Q&A.

By empowering patients to better understand their condition, we believe that we can improve health outcomes.

For us to get there, Human has to be completely free for our users, non-profit partners, charities, health advocates and patient/health organizations.

Here's how Human pays the bills

We lend editorial support to all doctors to create educational content in the form of articles or videos.

To help us maintain the resources and tech improvements needed to continuously create quality content, we currently do a limited number of paid collaborations with health-related brands, doctors, medical institutions and other media platforms.

Paid collaborations allow us to cover our running costs and growth plans to help more people.

Apart from input about broad topic areas, we never allow sponsors to influence the content we create. All content appearing on Human are subject to the guidelines found here.

If you are interested in working with us or finding out more, whether you are a health professional, patient, or reader, drop us a message via our Contact Page and we will get in touch.

I hope that you've found this guide useful, and perhaps gained more insight into the application process. Most of the admissions-related information (admin and logistics wise) can be found on the official NUS Faculty of Dentistry website.

To help yourself out, you should take note of what people look for when they look for a dentist.
