Depending on what type of skin concerns you would like address, the aesthetic treatments can still be tailored not to worsen your pre-existing rosacea. For instance there are effective laser treatments that not only improve acne prone skin and radiance, they can also be used to treat your rosacea at the same time. So I would recommend you to speak to an experienced doctor with rosacea to address your aesthetics concerns. Hope this helps! Cheers!
I would consider these factors before deciding on doing skinboosters and justifying its cost:
1. Doctor experience. Does the doctor provide a full consult and detailed analysis of your problem? Are other solutions offered for your concern that may be more cost friendly? Majority of my patients who ask for skin boosters usually find that I offer something a more comprehensive or targeted solution. 2. Quantity and brand. Good raw materials are important to get good results. High quality hyaluronic acid has multiple benefits for the skin.
Rejuran can be used after a skin booster treatment. It works differently in rejuvenating the skin and is often synergistic in effect. Rejuran is made of highly purified polynucleotide or PN. It naturally rejuvenates the skin cells by stimulating receptors which release growth factors to accelerate the skin’s natural healing process, thereby reversing skin damage and increasing collagen production. Skin boosters, on the other hand, contains hyaluronic acid. It rejuvenates the skin by enhancing the hydration level deep within the skin to improve skin quality. I hope this helps! Cheers, Dr.
When performed by a qualified doctor using small calibre sterile needles in an aseptic environment, there is negligible long-term negative effects on the skin barrier function. The risk of scarring will be very low. However, if you have a pre-existing skin condition such as eczema, do let your doctor know beforehand so that a thorough assessment of your suitability and overall skin condition to undergo injectable skin booster can be made. This also applies to those who are prone to excessive scarring such as keloid-prone.
The short answer is no. The reason being is because when we inject fillers, we inject to different layers of the skin and it penetrates further. But for topical creams with hyaluronic acid properties, I would say there are 2 factors that will determine how well it absorbs. Obviously it will be less wild compared to the injection but it does not mean it does not work. Firstly, let's say number one would be the driver, which stand for the specific molecules in the product that helps to drive the hyaluronic acid into the deeper layer of the skin.
