I just want to be prepared...

Body sculpting and contouring involves either surgical or non-invasive treatments to modify body appearances. For fat reduction, lipolysis remains one of the most popular methods over the last few decades. [1]

Dr K K Chew utilizes truSculpt iD. It is a non-invasive treatment that utilizes radio frequency to induce lipolysis, heating and breaking down fat pockets from the skin to muscle.

The procedure only takes 15 minutes and there is no downtime. On average, 24% of localized fat cells are permanently eliminated, with results seen in 8 to 12 weeks after the treatment.

Side effects of truSculpt iD may include

  1. redness
  2. sweating
  3. and mild tenderness over the treated areas,

but they generally clear within a few hours.

The truSculpt iD is flexible and versatile, enabling it to be used on a greater variety of people. It can be used on people with BMIs over 30, people with non-pinchable fat, and also over tattoos. That said, this treatment is primarily ideal for people that have isolated fat pockets even after diet and exercise.

Before embarking on this procedure, have a medical consultation with a trained doctor who will first evaluate you for suitability.
