I just want to be prepared...

Our mission is to grow the world's expert health knowledge and make it accessible for all

Today, 99.9% of health knowledge is still not on the internet.

Most of it is trapped within doctors' heads in the form of years of experience spent seeing patients, or buried in science papers and thick textbooks that only experts can understand.

Consequently, many people don't have access to health knowledge. They also don't have the connections, resources, or skills to get this knowledge.

Human gives health experts the power to easily share their knowledge.

Having an online voice multiplies their ability to help and affect change - from helping individual patients in front of them, to helping populations across the world.

As we grow, we will be able to provide larger and larger audiences to experts, get answers to more and more health questions, and have greater and greater impact on the world.

To do that, we are going to have to expand and improve the platform. Here’s the direction that Human is headed towards in the following months to come:

1. Help billions to live healthier, happier, and longer lives by partnering more experts to share their knowledge

Today, Human is used by hundreds of thousands of readers in Singapore. More than 100 healthcare experts across 31 specialties actively help readers by sharing their knowledge.

As more experts contribute, we can empower even more people to make decisions and take actions that improve their well-being and health outcomes.

2. Continuously improve answers to important health questions

Our platform will continuously update and improve every set of health questions and answers.

Each page on Human has to become the best resource for anyone looking for the answer to that health question.

3. Greater personalisation of content based on your needs and interests

As a registered user, you will get a customised feed and weekly digest email according to the interests you select, the doctors you follow, and the posts you read.

As you perform more actions on the site, our platform will adapt to your needs and interests to surface even more useful health content for you.

4. Expand Human to even more countries and languages

We are excited to expand Human beyond Singapore to Indonesia, China, and Malaysia, to even more countries and languages in future, as we continue working towards our mission to grow the world's expert health knowledge and make it accessible to all.

Finally, to all our partner health experts who have contributed your knowledge for the benefit of readers - a big thank you from our entire team, from the bottom of our hearts.

If you are interested in working with us or finding out more, whether you are a health professional, patient, or reader, drop us a message via our contact page and we will get in touch.

I hope that you've found this guide useful, and perhaps gained more insight into the application process. Most of the admissions-related information (admin and logistics wise) can be found on the official NUS Faculty of Dentistry website.

To help yourself out, you should take note of what people look for when they look for a dentist.
