Are there any creams for removing syringomas?

Doctor's Answers 1

Hi,

Syringomas are incomplete ductal tumors located in the dermis.

As such, they cannot be removed by creams.

They are removed by ablative therapies such as electrocautery, CO2 laser. Such therapies actually destroy the collection of incomplete ductal components causing the skin bumps of syringomas.

An experienced doctor is required to perform such procedures as scarring is possible from ablative treatments.

Hope this helps!

How to remove syringomas permanently?

Presuming that it is syringoma, I believe you know by now that syringoma is a benign growth from the sweat gland. Did it grow back again after CO2 or it did not improve at all? If it did not reduce at all after laser, you might need to burn it deeper. Although CO2 laser helps to vapourise it, it may regrow again, unfortunately. Some find that the result may last longer if we burn deeper but it also increases the risk of scarring as a result of excessive burnt, especially if you mentioned that you have a lot of it. Microneedling is not useful and there is no point doing it again.

How can I prevent pregnancy stretch marks?

In general, stretchmarks start developing in the late 2nd to 3rd trimester. Not all women develop stretchmarks. Some risk factors for the development of stretch marks include: Greater weight gain or distension of the abdomen, such as in multiple pregnancy or large fetus Genetic predisposition Greater melanin content in skin. Avoid putting on too much weight too fast! Various creams are on the market to prevent stretch marks. Unfortunately there is no clear evidence that individual topical agents necessarily work for the prevention of stretchmarks.
