Are there any over-the-counter medications for the removal of milia seeds on my face?

Doctor's Answers 1

Hi,

Over-the-counter medications generally do not help much in removing milia seeds.

Prescription creams such as topical tretinoin and adapalene may help as they facilitate skin renewal and may help “push” out the milia.

If topicals fail, then physical milia extraction or light electrocautery will help.

Hope this helps!
