The answer to your question is yes, Rejuran healer and Pico laser can be used for uneven skin tone, and both treatments can be done on the same day.

Rejuran healer has been evaluated in studies and in particular, a South Korean study published in the medical journal Dermatologic Therapy (2016) showed its efficacy in terms of marked improvement of pores and skin thickness for patients in their 30s and improvement in skin tone, melanin scores, wrinkles and sagging for patients in their 40s. These parameters were evaluated using face analyzers such as the Visioface and VISIA-CR.

As for Pico laser, there are various brands in the market but in general, a true grade Pico laser is effective for treating pigmentation that may be a part of your uneven skin tone. Your doctor would have to assess the type of pigmentation you may have first before more recommendations may be made regarding the feasibility and type of laser which is best for you. Hope this helps!

Uneven skin tone is a troubling issue but it can be treated.

Common types of uneven skin tone include Pigmentation (brown spots) and Redness/Rosacea (red spots/prominent blood vessels).

For treatment of Pigmentation (brown spots), Picosecond Lasers are the gold standard lasers of choice. You can consider Picosure, PicoPlus and Discovery Pico.

Rejuran Healer can be used after Picosecond laser to enhance the effects. Both treatments can be done on the same day.

For uneven skin tone related to redness/rosacea, a vascular laser is needed for best results. You can consider Pro Yellow, VBeam or Excel V.

Other treatments like chemical peels and HydraFacial can also help you to achieve more even skin tone.

Hope that this helps!

Uneven skin tone is generally caused by pigmentation due to photoaging. The skin produces excessive melanin, the pigment responsible for skin colour, leading to darkening of the skin in patches and spots.

Uneven skin tone can be effectively improved by Pico lasers. For example, PicoSure, a picosecond laser treatment approved by US FDA, delivers ultra-short pulse of energy to the skin in picoseconds (trillionths of a second), shattering the pigment into tiny dust-like particles which are then absorbed by the lymphatic system and eliminated naturally.

Pico lasers like PicoSure can be combined with Rejuran healer for skin rejuvenation. Rejuran healer promotes collagen production and skin regeneration for healthy, beautiful skin. Either treatment can be done first, depending on preference.

Hope the above helps!

How effective is fractional Co2 laser vs Infini RF for acne scars?

Good questions! I agree with Dr Chua’s reply on the pros and cons of Fractional CO2 lasers versus Infini RF. In addition, I would like to address your question on the ideal length of time between subcision and Infini RF treatments. The ideal interval between treatments is 4-6 weeks. This is to allow for adequate skin recovery. Hope that this answers your questions!

Is PRP injection available for acne scarring in Singapore?

PRP at the present moment is not available in Singapore. It does help with acne scarring though, and you might have to go to neighbouring countries to do the treatment (including Malaysia). Having said that, you can consider Rejuran/skin boosters/microneedling that can help in a similar fashion. Your 2nd question on which is better — it depends on the severity and type of scars. But usually Fractional laser is the backbone of laser therapy. So consult your doctor early to discuss the available options.
