Can Yasmin be used to delay menses if I'm going on a trip, is it safe to do so?

Yes, no worries, Yasmin can be used safely to delay your menses from coming and ruining your holiday. As Yasmin has 21 tablets in the packet, what you need to do is to finish off the last tablet and then skip the 7 day pill-free period and start the next Yasmin packet the next day without taking a break (immediately).

In this way, your period will not come during this current month and should return as usual during your next pill-free period. If it doesn't return, it is best to then see a gynaecologist to determine the cause.
