How effective is electroporation for delivering intradermal Rejuran Healer, compared to manual injections?

Doctor's Answers 2

As Rejuran Healer contains larger molecules Polynucleotide (PN) molecules, manual injections would be more effective in delivering these molecules into the skin cells to repair and regenerate the skin.

Electroporation is not able to effectively penetrate the large molecules of PN into the skin cells as the device is only able to penetrate small molecule ingredients.

I recommend intradermal injections of Rejuran Healer for most effective results.

How effective is "needleless" Rejuran Healer?

Yes, I agree with Dr. Justin Boey's opinion on clarifying what your provider means by "needleless" Rejuran/PDRN/PN treatment. If it is done using a "needle-less" treatment device such as Enerjet, which is still able to deliver compounds into the skin (intradermal) using jet volumetric remodelling (JVR) technology, this is probably effective. However, do note that most clinical studies involving Rejuran/PDRN for skin rejuvenation and wound healing properties demonstrated efficacy for injected PDRN (1).

How long should I wait after fillers before proceeding with Ultherapy or HIFU treatment?

Great question. The sequence of aesthetic treatments are important since multi-modality treatments are a norm these days. Because of HA filler injections used, I generally wait for 3-4 weeks later, before proceeding with HIFU treatment. Although there is no clinical studies, however this recommendation is backed by consensus from experienced doctors who are key opinion leaders in Aesthetic Medicine. My preference is to be safe and steady, to yield the best results for my patients and minimize any potential side effects/ complications. Hope this helps.
