For eyebrow embroidery removal, are there non-laser options available?

Doctor's Answers 1

Eyebrow embroidery is a more superficial form of eyebrow tattooing that is popular nowadays and is supposed to be non-permanent. Hence it may be worthwhile to wait several months or years to allow for natural clearance of the pigment.

The brown colour used for most eyebrow embroidery also does not lend well to laser treatment as there is a risk that the laser treatment may turn the brown pigment black.

A small test area of treatment usually at the tail of the eyebrow is recommended to see if laser treatment is effective before proceeding to treat the entire eyebrow.

Is subcision or excision more effective for chicken pox scars? (photo)

The choice of scar revision technique depends on a few things, uncluding: 1. The type of scar 2. The location of the scar You appear to have an atrophic box-like scar just above the brow. Excision of scars can be done with good reduction of scar appearances, but I would, in this case, recommend a trial of subscisions combined with (careful) filler placement and laser resurfacing. I suggest the above for a few reasons: 1. The scar, when excised, will need to be sutured back for primary healing.
