How can I look after my peeling skin due to hand, foot and mouth disease? (photo)Skin, Hair & Nails
Hello, I am 26 years old. I was diagnosed with hand, foot and mouth disease by my doctor. I've had it for around 10 days, and now the skin on my fingers and foot has started to peel off. Is this common, and how should I medicate it for faster healing?
Peeling of the hands and feet after hand foot and mouth disease is quite common. This usually occurs after 1 to 2 weeks of the infection.
You should use moisturizers regularly on your hands and feet, and minimize contact with harsh soaps and detergents in the meantime.
The skin will gradually recover, so do not be too worried!

Hi, a simple moisturizer will do. You may also try some Aloe Vera to speed up the process.
