Bowing of the legs can be due to a number of reasons. Sometimes it can be due to a deficiency in vitamin D which normally presents in childhood as rickets. Other causes can be issues with alignment of your lower limb or pelvis, a leg length discrepancy or due to your back.
I think it would be prudent to seek an assessment either from a physiotherapist, podiatrist or sports/MSK physician. Based on this, further treatment or investigation can be organised.
I am hesitant to advise you against exercising as this is important for health. If you are concerned, perhaps you could try other forms of exercise such as cycling, swimming or gym?
Hope this helps.
