No egocort and gentriderm may not be the most suitable for yeast infection.
Treatment really depends on whether the yeast infection is recurrent and the symptoms severe or mild. Generally if the yeast infection is mild to moderate, anti fungal cream like butoconazole, clotrimazole, miconazole, and terconazole can be used. Otherwise you can use suppositories 1, 3 or 7 day course.
For more recurrent or severe yeast infection, oral antifungal course of up to 14 days can be used. Sometimes doctors will also put you on a maintenance of once a week oral fluconazole tablets for 6 months. You need to see a doctor to decide the best course of action.
