How does taking hormone pills (Diane35) for Menorrhagia affect my chances of getting pregnant in the future?

Doctor's Answer

You may be glad to know that since oral contraceptive pills like Diane 35 are short acting in that they are only effective for 1 day (which is why you need to take them orally everyday) , they should not affect your chances of conceiving in the future.

The reason why some women claim that they may have difficulty getting pregnant after being on the oral contraceptive pill for some time is that they are older by then so natural fertility decreases with increasing maternal age (rather than be due to a direct effect from the oral contraceptive pills).
