How likely is it to develop lumps after filler injections in the face?

Doctor's Answer

Hi,

It's not very likely to develop lumps after having fillers injected. Having said that, it does depend on how superficial the injection is and the technique of the injector. If the product is placed too superficially and in lumps, then you may feel that it is lumpy. The deeper the injection, the less likely you are to feel any lumps.

Under the eye, the injections are placed more superficially than other areas of the face so it is possible to that you feel some lumps there. If you do get any lumps, they can usually be massaged away.
