How long does a laser toning treatment take?

Doctor's Answers 1

Hi,

For laser toning, generally large spot sizes (e.g. 6-8mm) coupled with lower laser energies are used to brighten the skin, reduce unwanted pigmentation and stimulate some collagen formation. Generally 3-5 passes of lasering are done to obtain mild pinkishness of the treated skin. Most experienced doctors generally use high lasering repetition rates (e.g. 10Hz or 10 shots per second) during treatment.

As such, it takes only a few minutes to cover one cheek area and 8-15mins for whole face treatment.

Hope this clarifies!
