This will largely depend on the type of dermal fillers used. Some dermal fillers are temporary and others are more permanent. The cause of your dents will also be an important factor in deciding the best treatment plan which may include lasers, fillers or subcision or a combination of therapies. Hello CS Thank you for your question. Bruising can happen after filler injections and will typically subside in 1 to 2 weeks. You can also consider arnica gel/ tablets to help with your recovery. Personally I will avoid the following to reduce the risk of bruising: NSAIDs Supplements (Vit E/ Omega 3 Fatty Acids/ Ginko/ Garlic) Alcohol Heat related activities Intense exercise Do let your doctor know if there is significant bruising. It will also be helpful if you can show a picture of the bruises. Hope this helps!
