How much do fillers cost in Singapore for nose bridge and laughing lines?

Doctor's Answers 2

The price of doing fillers for your nose bridge and laughing line depends on a few factors. The type of filler chosen is one big factor. As Dr Wong has pointed out, there are temporary as well as semi-permanent options, and there are also various products even within each category.

Hyaluronic acid fillers are an extremely popular option, but it is important to note that not ALL hyaluronic acid fillers are suitable for the nose. Only a select few options are proven to be good for the nose. They are chosen based on how hard and how cohesive they are. Different filler properties make it suitable for various areas of the face (or body).

I wrote an article about various options for the nose and nose fillers in Singapore here.

Some types of laughing lines can benefit from the hard fillers I use for the nose as well. A quick assessment by your doctor will tell if that is suitable. If it is suitable, and if your nose does not require that much filler, you may be able to do both areas with just one syringe of filler.

As aesthetic medicine is very subjective and personal, I would advise a proper consult with a certified aesthetic doctor, and base your decision on trust and safety. All the best!

The cost of the areas mentioned depends on the number of syringes of fillers needed.

(Do take note that nose fillers have fallen out of fashion due to a risk of blindness – nowadays we use nose threads for a better and safer result).

How effective is fractional Co2 laser vs Infini RF for acne scars?

Good questions! I agree with Dr Chua’s reply on the pros and cons of Fractional CO2 lasers versus Infini RF. In addition, I would like to address your question on the ideal length of time between subcision and Infini RF treatments. The ideal interval between treatments is 4-6 weeks. This is to allow for adequate skin recovery. Hope that this answers your questions!

Is PRP injection available for acne scarring in Singapore?

PRP at the present moment is not available in Singapore. It does help with acne scarring though, and you might have to go to neighbouring countries to do the treatment (including Malaysia). Having said that, you can consider Rejuran/skin boosters/microneedling that can help in a similar fashion. Your 2nd question on which is better — it depends on the severity and type of scars. But usually Fractional laser is the backbone of laser therapy. So consult your doctor early to discuss the available options.
