I’m sorry to hear that your liposuction procedure did not go as planned.

In my practice, I perform S.A.F.E. Liposuction as pioneered by Dr Simeon Wall Jr. It is a revolutionary 3 step technique that especially aims to treat problems that result from improperly done liposuction.

Treatment of dimpling and irregularities would depend on whether there is a need to remove any further fat in order to sculpt the body. If so, then a repeat liposuction with all 3 steps above should be done with care taken to even out the areas of irregularity. If not, then simple Fat Elevation (the F.E. Portion) could be done without the need to go through a full liposuction. This is akin to performing a fat redistribution under the skin to treat the dimpling.

I'm sorry to hear that your result is unsatisfactory. At 9 months, we can assume that the result is fairly stable and will not improve significantly without action.

From what you describe, the optimal solution is to undergo a 2nd procedure involving VASER liposelection to reduce/smoothen the excessive areas with concurrent fat transfer to fill in the dimples/concavities.

VASER (3rd generation ultrasound-assisted liposuction) would also be ideal for releasing the scarring left behind by the previous surgery whilst achieving an extra degree of skin tightening to even the result out even further over the course of 1 to 2 months.

Don't worry, it can be fixed.

Who are the best candidates for liposuction?

Based on your description, you sound like the ideal candidate for liposuction: Stable weight Good exercise regime No medical problems or medical problems that are well controlled Localized areas of fat that won't go away despite your best efforts The only thing I might want to hear is that you have a good dietary plan.

How much does liposuction cost in Singapore, and what affects the cost?

As a ballpark figure, you can expect to pay about $15,000 - $25,000 for liposuction in Singapore in total. Plastic surgeons in Singapore usually perform liposuction on a minimum of 5 body parts. Liposuction costs about $1,500 - $2,800 for each body part area. It’s not uncommon for doctors to avoid mentioning the cost of liposuction on their websites in Singapore because of the variability in price, according to what you need. This is best determined by an in person consultation and physical examination.
