Thank you for the question, and it is certainly a relevant one.
As opposed to immunity, some patients metabolize fillers more quickly than others. It depends on the resistance to degradation by native hyaluronidase (an enzyme that degrades hyaluronic acid found in fillers).
In other words, injected fillers will still have the intended effect/outcome, but your body may burn through the fillers quicker than its expected longevity.
