What are some possible treatments for a curved penis?
It depends on the cause of the curved penis.
If it has been present since young, it could likely be due to frenulum brevie or a short frenulum, which is the point where the foreskin is attached to the penis.
The other possibility would be congenital penile curvature. These two conditions would require surgical correction.
Curvatures that develop over time would be due to Peyronie’s disease. This is commonly associated with a palpable lump on the penis, painful erections, and in some patients, penile shortening.
We can treat Peyronie’s disease with medications, injectables, penile traction, and surgical correction.
