What are the best non-surgical methods to get a V face in Singapore?

Aesthetic Medicine

Hi,

Thank you for your website and offering unbiased answers. I was wondering – what would be the best way for me to get a V face? Is surgery the best option as I am afraid of it, but I heard that that is the only permanent method.

I have heard also from my girl friends that some doctors are able to use fillers. Is this possible, and how long will the effects last for? Also, how much will it cost? Thank you very much!

Jane

DOCTOR’S ANSWER (2)

Hi Jane,

It depends on what is the main contributing factor causing the squarish face. The factors could be :

a) wide bony face structure (needs bone shaving SURGERY)

b) big chewing muscles (needs Dysport or Xeomin

c) short, recessive chin (needs fillers or chin implants )

d) sagginess of fat tissues and skin causing jowls (can use Ulthera , Radiesse, Ellanse

e) chubby face ( Ulthera and / or Threadlift )

Therefore it all depends on your condition , so please look for a qualified doctor / plastic surgeon .

Dear Jane, I think Dr Wong answered you quite fully.

You need to get assessed and see what the true problem is, is it too much subcutaneous fat? Is it too big a jaw muscle? Is it due to sunken-ness that the face looks disproportionate?

Seek 1-2 opinions and do treatments when you are comfortable.
