Yes, I agree with Dr Dinesh. Most PCL injuries are treated conservatively, via physiotherapy and rehabilitation. If your accident is 3 years ago, and the knee is starting to be symptomatic again, the most important thing to exclude is whether there are any other new injuries.

You may need a repeat MRI scan. If it is really just the PCL injury, again treatment can be conservative, or for patients, surgical reconstruction of the PCL is indicated. But that would depend on factors like the overall stability of the knee, whethere there are any rotational injuries, meniscal injuries, the level of activity that you require etc.

It would be useful to consult an orthopaedic or sports physician, and have your knee checked out.
