How long after a Q-switch treatment should I wait before getting a TCA Cross session?

Hi, As guiding principle, it is advisable to allow the skin to heal completely or at least significantly after one procedure before undergoing the next procedure. Q-switched laser treatment is associated with fairly rapid skin recovery. Hence a gap of 4-6 weeks should be adequate before going for a more aggressive treatment such as TCA Cross. Nevertheless, you should discuss the above with your attending doctor who is the best person to advise you on the proposed treatment protocol. Hope this helps!

Why does acne scar depth remain the same even after Fraxel laser and subcision treatment?

Hi,For all treatment modalities including Fraxel laser and subcision, failure of clinical response is well recognized despite the use of the right procedure and appropriate treatment parameters. A full assessment by your attending doctor is probably needed to review treatment parameters and to determine if alternative acne scar treatment methods such as scar revision surgery is required for the poorly responsive acne scars. Hope this helps!
