There are no physical signs or symptoms just from the looks of the seminal fluid by using the naked eye to determine if the sperm count is low. To determine low sperm count, you would need to undergo a semen analysis.
To do this, we would need you to give us a sample of your semen. It will be examined in the andrology laboratory where the different parameters of the semen will be assessed.
These parameters include:
- Sperm count or density
- Sperm motility
- Sperm morphology (% of normal sperms)
With all that said, a man with low sperm count can still be able to father a child.
