For a 65-year-old healthy male with no previous medical issues or family history, I would recommend that he screens for the following conditions at a minimum. (Further tests may be recommended by your doctor if there is a personal or family history of certain chronic diseases)
Hypertension
What test: Blood pressure measurement
Who should test: All individuals ≥ 18years old
How often to test: once every 2 years if blood pressure is <130/85, once a year if blood pressure is between 130-139/85-89
Obesity
What test: Measure height and weight to calculate your body mass index (BMI)
Who should test: All individuals ≥ 18years old
How often to test: Every year
Cholesterol
What test: Fasting blood test
Who should test: All individuals ≥ 40 years old, or earlier if there are risk factors for heart disease.
How often to test: If normal, to repeat screening every 3 years. (If assessed to be a high risk of heart disease, then repeat the test every year)
Diabetes

Who should test: All individuals ≥ 40 years old, or earlier if there are risk factors for diabetes
How often to test: If normal, to repeat screening every 3 years.
Colorectal cancer
