What should I do to get rid of jawline acne? (photos)

Doctor's Answer

Yes, adult acne is like the MOOOOSTTT annoying thing possible.

I have patients who started popping out at age 32/50 and whatever lies in between. And generally the outbreaks are quite numerous.

I generally have a much lower threshold for starting isotretinoin for patients, especially for male patients.

I don't really find doxycycline useful, and I don't like benzoyl peroxide as it tends to dry the surface, but do nothing to the infective lump.

As such, for you I might start isotretinoin, and add on a gentle glycolic peel, as well as an adequate but LIGHT moisturiser.

That should do well.

Regards,

Winston
