Who are some recommended doctors for spider vein treatment in Singapore?

Doctor's Answers 2

Both sclerotherapy and long pulse ND-Yag are good treatment options. The clinical studies so far show that sclerotherapy is slightly more effective and may take fewer sessions.

However, sclerotherapy can be accompanied by risks such as allergic reaction, embolism and infection. These are almost unheard of with the long pulse laser. Long pulse ND-Yag also happens to be safe for all skin types, and is a good alternative for those who are afraid of needles, allergic to sclerosant or who have very small veins.

Hope this helps.

Spider veins can be treated with sclerotherapy or laser treatment (ND Yag laser), if they are small enough.

Sclerotherapy is typically done by vascular surgeons, dermatologists, plastic surgeons and occasionally, aesthetic doctors in Singapore.

The cost of sclerotherapy in Singapore usually ranges from $500/session onwards. Hard to give you a good gauge, as it will also depend on the extent of spider veins that need treatment, the doctor’s fee for consultation, and ultrasound testing of your veins.

How can one remove greenish blue veins under the eyes?

There are non-invasive (lasers) as well as minimally invasive (sclerotherapy) options that can help with this problem. I use a long pulse ND:Yag laser in my practice to deal with this problem. It can be set to target deep and large blood vessels such as those found under the eye. I would recommend a full consultation with a dermatologist or aesthetic physician to find out more background about the problem and discuss a treatment plan before proceeding.

Can you recommend a doctor who can treat facial veins due to rosacea?

Different brands of machines, specialists vs non specialist, years of experience may all account for different costs. Do note that whatever you read online may not be the BEST treatment for your skin type/condition, and I’d strongly suggest letting the doctor assess your skin/condition, before advising on the best treatment.
