The procedures that each dentist may choose to do really depends on their comfort levels. There is no hard and fast rule nor guidelines dictating the work scope of the dentists.
If they feel the patient is best managed under the care of their fellow colleagues for certain procedures, they would then make the necessary referrals in the patient’s best interest.
