Hello Faceneedshelp,

Thank you for your pictures. You seem to have a mix of box and ice-pick scars. I'd use mainly combination lasers for that, including some ablative lasers. This still depends on personal assessment and your skin type.

Additionally, some deeper scars will benefit from punch excision and microsurgery to completely remove.

Stay away from microneedling radiofrequency - they do not work at all for your type of scars.

Hope this helps!

I had a keloid scar that was from an acne when I was a teen, and till now there is some irritation and redness. How can I get rid of it?

I have many deep pitted scars. I am considering subcision to treat them. Is subcision without fillers worth it?

I’m currently 24. I have some old crater acne scars on my face. I also have relatively dark skin tone that is tanned and brown. I would like to know what procedures can help to reduce or “smoothen” out the old acne scars.

I am a 28 years old guy, and I have severe acne scars (all types). I am considering TCA Cross, Subcision and Intracel RF to treat my scars. Can acne scar treatments be combined in the same treatment session? Or would it be better to do each type of acne scar treatment separately and on different days, spaced out over a period of time? My considerations are that I am keen for the most amount of improvement in the shortest time, but without being overly "harsh" on my skin.

I am 28 yrs old. I am planning on treating my deep pitted acne scars with subcision and TCA cross. I am worried that there is a risk that TCA CROSS can cause pigmentation and widening of scars. How can these risks be avoided, or minimised? Thank you!
I am on Accutane 10mg/day for 3 months. I have gone for TCA CROSS treatment for 2 of my ice pick scars (red circled) 3 months ago. I had some improvement of 10~15% depth wise, but they also got wider. My most recent breakout resulted in 2 very pitted ice pick scars (yellow circled). I am...

I’ve had this particular pimple for over 3 months now. Visited a GP and got antibiotic cream which reduced the swelling significantly, but it seems like the pus is still there. Was looking at cortisone shots but I am not too sure how effective they are. Can cortisone shots get rid of nodular acne effectively, or are there any other treatment options? Appreciate the help!
