Hello,

You should allow the child to talk about his or her feelings regarding her gender and his/her preferences. Your replies depend on what the child feels and says. If you are unable to answer the child's questions, you should seek professional help.

Hello,

If it is a well established case, it can be completely cured after transitioning.

Top Questions

I would like to know what causes gender dysphoria in people and how I can support someone who has it?

I have read that people often start suffering from gender dysphoria as children, and are only able to seek help and treatment when they are adults. Is it possible for gender dysphoria to start when someone is an adult?

Just as there are people who have reported feeling happier and at peace following their gender reassignment surgery or when they start hormone therapy, there are also people who have regret their decision. I'm worried about "buyer's regret"

Are these procedures reversible if someone regrets their decision?

How do people know whether they have gender dysphoria or whether it is just a phase or exploring or something like that?
