I brought my three young kids to Neo Smiles last Saturday. Dentist (Dr Neo) was very gentle and friendly, informing my wife and I about all the procedures and what to look out for before starting treatment. My girls even got stickers while watching cartoons on the overhead TV. After the treatment, they even asked when is the next time we can visit again. Definitely the best dental experience we ever had. Kudos!

She's the best pediatric dentist that my kids have seen and they've seen 3 before her. Together with the assistant, they put the kids at ease, show them the equipments, make the kids feel helpful. Nice clinic as well.

Dr Ng Jing Jing has got to be one of the best children's dentist in town. She is very friendly, kind, patient and gentle with children. My 8 year old had to have 8 baby teeth removed due to cavities. We did two extraction at a time with local anaesthetic and my girl didn't feel any pain when Dr Ng administered the local anaesthetic!

Ask Dr Elaine Tan: Early Braces Treatment In Children

DxD Session held on August 31, 2018.

Most people associate orthodontics with adolescence or older children. However, orthodontists recommend that children see an orthodontist as early as age 7. Typically, permanent teeth start to come through around the age of 6 or 7, with adult molars coming through around the age of 10.

If your child displays orthodontic problems that warrant treatment, your orthodontist will recommend the most efficient sound course of action to nip it in the bud.

Join Dr Elaine Tan, an experienced orthodontist from National Dental Centre as she hosts a QnA session where she answers all your questions on early braces treatment in children.
