Should I do laser or lip fillers first to lighten my darkened lips if I'm planning to do both?

Hi there! Lip augmentation is a delicate procedure which is meant to accentuate the natural curves of the lips and/or reverse the signs of ageing. This can be achieved with the use of well-placed fillers, injected in the correct plane and anatomical structures, whilst safely avoiding the blood vessels. Fillers are usually injected into the substance of the lip itself. Lasers are commonly used for the area above the lips for rejuvenation, pigment reduction, and/or hair removal. They are not commonly performed on the red or mucosal portion of the lip.

How to choose a good plastic surgeon for liposuction in Singapore?

Hi there, Thank you for your question. Liposuction is a cosmetic procedure that should be performed by a well trained, board-certified plastic surgeon (this can be found on the Singapore Association of Plastic Surgeons website saps. org. sg). In addition to this, they should be accredited by the Ministry of Health to perform liposuction (list is available from the MoH website). Once you have determined that your plastic surgeon is accredited, you can then research his profile to determine his experience and expertise, as well as the technique of liposuction he/she performs.

Where can I get forehead lowering surgery or hairline advancement surgery in Singapore?

Hi there! Forehead lowering surgery and hairline advancement surgery should be performed by a qualified, accredited, board-certified plastic surgeon. These procedures are often performed in isolation or as part of forehead rejuvenation/lift, and require intricate knowledge of the anatomy to reduce the risk of nerve or vessel damage. Also, delicate plastic surgery techniques, such as hiding the hairline incision and plastic surgical suturing, need to be performed to minimize the appearance of scars. Hope this helps!
