7 Commonly Prescribed Medications In Singapore You Shouldn't Be Giving Your Kids

Kids fall sick all the time. It's no surprise, given that they are exposed to the United Nations of Germs on a daily basis (AKA pre-school), even while their immunity is still developing.

Good question. The middle ear space is behind the eardrums, and it is linked to the back of the nose via the auditory tube or the eustachian tube as shown in the picture below. Sometimes, when you have a bad cold or a sinus infection, the phelgm can travel from the back of the nose, up thr...

Chickenpox is a virus that hides inside our body forever. It hides in the nerve cells, and sometimes when your immunity is poor, it can flare up and become shingles/zoster. Our body will continue to produce antibodies (immunity) to control the virus. There is no need to get a chi...

Thank you for your question. Body odour is a very subjective thing. Generally this is genetically determined. There has been some research to show that if you find an opposite sex's BO unbearable, it usually means that he/she is very genetically similar to you. The conduct of the...

I am a vegetarian myself. The vegan lifestyle is environmentally friendly and possibly healthier, but there are many potential pitfalls. If you are not bound by religion or otherwise, it might be good to still eat small amounts of animal based products once a week to stay healthy. ...

After being infected by chickenpox, the "varicella zoster" virus actually hides inside the nerve in the body for life . Your immunity keeps it under control and the virus is usually "sleeping" or dormant. When your body immunity drops as you age, or when you are ill, it can flare u...

Thank you for asking this interesting question. Like many things in medicine, there isn't one "best treatment". What is best for you is a doctor who will actually properly find out all the causes of your iliotibial band syndrome (ITBS) and target the treatment at all the causes o...

Thank you for asking this interesting question. Your medical ID is supposed to keep critical information, such as drug allergies and main medical diagnoses. I think "KLACID and AVELOX ALLERGY + your biodata + blood group" might be the only things that can fit.
