About Dr Vincent Tan

Dr Vincent Tan graduated from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. During his foundation years in the UK, he was trained in various surgical subspecialty, and spent a significant amount of time in Ophthalmology, where he refined his manual dexterity and attention to details.

Dr Tan is fully accredited by the Singapore Medical Council’s Aesthetic Practices Oversight Committee (APOC) to perform a variety of aesthetic procedures including Botulinum Toxin injections, dermal fillers injections and skin tightening devices. He has a special interest in injectables, and practices evidence-based aesthetic treatment. Dr Tan offers bespoke plans for each of his patients, as he strongly believes that there is no ‘one-fit-for-all’ treatment. In order to stay on the cutting edge of aesthetic medicine, he is a frequent participant of aesthetic conferences and workshops.

During his free time, he enjoys cooking and painting. Dr Tan is also a volunteer in various non-government organisations to help patients in need, who cannot afford medical care

I agree with Dr Elias. Your alternative option would be hair reduction with laser, instead of IPL. Laser hair reduction/removal has an advantage of targeting hair follicles, while leaving the surrounding hair undamaged. Do consult your doctor to see if you are suitable for ...

Thank you for your question. As we age, our skin loses its elasticity and collagen. Threadlift reverse the process by mechanical lifting and restoring volume loss by stimulating collagen production. You are certainly right that it is non-permanent an...

Thank you for your question. Post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) occurs after an inflammatory event, leading to an increase in melanin production in the affected skin area. The more inflamed an acne breakout, the larger and darker the PIH. That would explain why even ...

Thank you for the question. I agree with most of the doctors here. In my practice, I will use any remaining filler to topup for my patients within 2 weeks. After which, the filler will be discarded and will not be used for any other patients. Hope this helps! Best Wishes, ...

Thank you for your question. It depends on what end results you would like to achieve. Filler can give more obvious results while threadlift can give subtle improvement without the side effect of fillers. It is best to consult a doctor to see which one suits you better, either...

Thank you for your question. I agree with Dr Ho, the raised spots appears to look like milia. Milia are completely harmless, and in some cases they will eventually clear by themselves. Treatment: 1. Observe and wait - It may clear on its own 2. Topical tretinoin (Vitamin...
